This topic has been created for the Eco Trustees to discuss the monetary policy that will be enacted on Friday February 2nd 2024. As always, the policy will be in effect for two weeks — this is for Generation 1034, which runs from February 2nd 2024 - February 16th 2024.
Trustees are encouraged to post via replies under this topic to:
- Discuss what policy they have proposed and/or are voting for, and why
- Engage in public dialogue/debate with other Trustees

I will continue to propose and support high APR policy, I don’t see any downside (at the moment) and I want to give the community the ability to lockup their tokens if they want to.
My stated position from last cycle has not changed, however our most recent Trustee meeting yielded the beginnings of establishing our long-term vision, which included looking at Eco as a WORLD currency, vs one influenced by any single nation, and leveraging an international metric (as yet, unspecified) that will allow us, in future cycles, to offer an informed lockup policy. At that time, I will fully endorse a lockup policy.
